Who we are

What we collect

When you contact us or place an order, you give us your name, email address, delivery address and what you ordered. We keep that because we cannot ship a rug or answer you without it.

When you browse the site, our own analytics records:

• your IP address and what it tells us about the connection: country, city, internet provider and network operator
• your browser and device type, screen size and language
• the pages you open, the links and buttons you click, and what you add to the cart
• the site or search engine you arrived from

What we never collect

We do not record what you type. Names, email addresses, postal addresses, passwords and card numbers are excluded from the analytics by design: the code reads the label of a button you click, never the contents of a field. We do not collect payment card details anywhere on this site.

Why we do it ourselves

Most shops embed third-party trackers that follow you across the web. We do not. The analytics on this site is ours, it runs on our own infrastructure at Cloudflare, and the data is never sold, never shared with advertising networks and never used to build a profile of you anywhere except on this site.

Your choice

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the analytics does not run at all. Nothing is recorded and no identifier is stored. You can also ask us to exclude your device or your connection permanently: write to us and we will add it to our ignore list.

How long we keep it

Raw IP addresses are deleted automatically after 90 days; after that only country and city level information remains. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.

There are no advertising cookies on this site.

Who else sees your data

Our hosting and network providers process data on our behalf so the site can be served and orders delivered: our web host, Cloudflare, and the courier that carries your parcel. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@rugpop.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we update this page and the date below. The version published when you visit is the one that applies.
